
President:
Edgar Lee ('98) graduated from The College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALS) with a B.S. in Marketing/Business Administration. At Cornell, Edgar was sports chair for KSA for 4 years initiating the 1st Annual Cornell KSA Basketball Tournament (1994) and broadening KSA involvement in intramural sports. He also was a member of the Cornell Golf Team in 1994.
Edgar currently is a Financial Consultant with AXA Advisors, LLC and specializes in individual and business financial planning. He is an active member of The Fort Lee Chamber of Commerce and sits on the Fort Lee Council Beautification Committee. In addition, he is an officer of the Korean Amateur Golf Association. His previous positions include working in Market Development for MTV Networks, Director of Marketing for Michaella Corp. and as a Korean interpreter for the NY Mets. Edgar lives in Fort Lee, NJ.
Vice President
Han Cho ('07) graduated from The College of Arts and Sciences with a B.A. in Economics and minor in Physics. At Cornell, Han was a Korean-American Representative for KSA for one year and a Shimtah member for four years. He has emceed many of the biggest KSA events such as Culture Night, Asia Night, Freshmen Orientation, etc., and Shimtah performances for four years.
Han currently is a Research Analyst for a hedge fund at Cramer Rosenthal McGlynn. The fund is a long/short equity hedge fund that specializes in real estate related equities. This broad investment universe of stocks includes, but is not limited to REITs, hotels, homebuilders, healthcare facilities, restaurants, gaming, lodging, leisure and retail. Previously, Han was an Investment Banking Analyst with The Transportation Group (Capital) Limited, which is an investment bank providing investment offerings, investment research and arrangement, and advisory services to the aviation and rail transportation industries. Han currently resides in Little Neck, NY.
Treasurer
Cathy Choi ('93) graduated from the School of Arts and Science with a B.A. in Theater Arts. She also received her MBA from NYU Stern with a concentration in Finance and Accounting. She is one of the founding officers of CKAA and has been involved in the organization since its inception.
Cathy currently is President of Bulbrite Industries, a leading manufacturer and supplier of innovative, energy-efficient light source solutions. She lives in NJ with her husband Ung Joo Scott Lee (Cornell ’93) and their two daughters.
Cultural Chair
HeeJee Jo ('07) graduated from The College of Human Ecology with a B.S. in Textiles & Apparel Design. At Cornell, HeeJee was a member of the Cornell Design League for 4 years and showcased her collection at the annual fashion shows. HeeJee also attended Parsons Paris School of Design and Seoul National University for a year. While in Seoul, she has worked as a journalist and published feature articles for Daily Seoul Collection, an exclusive publication for Seoul Fashion Week.
Membership Chair
Diane Park (’07) graduated from the School of Arts and Sciences with a B.A. in Government and Sociology. Diane served on the KSA executive board as the Political Chair and Korean-American Representative. She was also a board member of Liberty in North Korea (LiNK) for two years.
After graduating from Cornell, Diane worked for two years as a litigation paralegal at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison, a New York-based law firm of over 600 attorneys. She is currently a first year student at Fordham University School of Law and resides in Manhattan.
